The World Around Us is an ongoing street project consisting of the series of documentary street images representing peoples daily life in the urban surroundings around the world.

 

Through the Street in BW and Sreet Colours series, i express how i see and percieve The World Around Me. I like to merge with the moment and usually take it as it comes. 

 

Every generation has something unique to it's ephoh, something relevant only to it's own time and place. I am interested in capturing this time lapse of our present century through the images that are exploring peoples relationship with the world they are living in.

 

I am a travel photographer by heart, who always finds fasinating when it comes to exploring cultural traditions and enviroment of other cultures. 

I believe that every culture and country bears it's own mood and colours thus influencing people who live there.

The known streets, music, events and current affairs provide people with a sense of belonging to a certain place and time, Culture often influences peoples appearance and common interests. However, there is nothing permanent in this world, the world is perpetually changing and so do we. What we had 40 years or more ago, there is no more. Time silently has changed our surroundings, Visual representation of current affairs has always felt diferent through all generations.

 

We often take for granted what we see around us today, illusionary assuming it to always be there anyway. We often percieve our daily lifes as a common matter of course, not really concidering it to be something special or worth of much thoughts. But the moment is like a wind, it is here for a second and then it is gone. 

 

I am interested in documenting those passing moments, capturing the present reality of our current time which will pass too in it's due time.
